Invasive Species

Non-native, invasive species are plants and animals, usually introduced intentionally, that often out compete native plants and animals. The main ones of concern in our area are:

Plants.

  1. Giant Hogweed
  2. Himalayan Balsam
  3. Japanese Knotweed

Animals.

  1. American Signal Crayfish
  2. Mink
